What Is TMJ/TMD?
The temporomandibular joint serves to connect the jaw to the skull. Pain in this area is identified as Temporomandibular Disorder, or TMD. The TMJ is like other joints in the body and can experience disorders such as ankylosis, arthritis, and dislocations.
TMD Symptoms Include:
- Biting/chewing difficulty or discomfort
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Dizziness
- Hearing loss
- Headaches/earaches in the morning
- Jaw pain or tenderness
- Reduced ability to open/close the mouth

Jaw Pain Treatment
