A Clear Path to Straighter Smiles

Invisalign clear aligners at Lifetime Orthodontics offer an alternate way to get the same results as traditional braces. They're clear and removable, so they will have less influence on your lifestyle.

Our Invisalign Process at Lifetime Orthodontics

Invisalign's clear aligners offer a comfortable fit with no metal or wire components. The aligner trays use proprietary Smart track material, virtually invisible to the naked eye.

For a the same cost and treatment time, Invisalign aligners from Lifetime Orthodontics can straighten your smile comfortably and discreetly.

And the best part? Unlike braces, these aligners are completely removable.

This means you can enjoy all the foods and drinks you love if you remove your aligner first!

Dr. Wesley plans out each movement of your teeth using Invisalign's proprietary software. Your aligners are customized to your mouth using 3D computer imaging, so they fit easily over your teeth.

You'll receive your first sets of custom aligners to wear during your treatment in approximately 4 weeks. Each 1-2 weeks as directed by Dr. Wesley, you'll switch to the next aligner in the set until your treatment is complete.

Typically, at our Clinton Township and Grosse Pointe offices, treatment using Invisalign lasts 9-16 months.

Ideal for Teens

At Lifetime Orthodontics, we want our teen patients to be excited about starting their journey toward straighter teeth, and Invisalign is one of the tools Dr. Wesley uses to help make that happen.

Invisalign aligners are completely removable, so teens can participate in all their favorite activities without the inconvenience that traditional braces might present.

And, since Invisalign aligners are made of clear plastic and almost invisible, teens will feel comfortable and confident as they straighten their smiles.

Differences Between Braces & Invisalign

When it comes to Invisalign treatment, there's a lot to consider. Most Invisalign patients at Lifetime Orthodontics enjoy shorter check-ups, fewer appointments, simpler oral hygiene, and fewer emergencies.

Clear aligners, such as Invisalign®, work differently than clear braces. Clear aligners are made of a flexible plastic material that fits over your teeth, similar to a mouthguard.

Since braces are attached to your teeth, they do the heavy lifting to keep your treatment progressing.

With Invisalign®, you may need to do extra work during your treatment so your trays can work effectively. You'll need to manage your wear time, keep your aligners clean, and swap them out for the next aligner in the series. You must be sure you can do this before committing to Invisalign treatment.

Like traditional metal braces, Dr. Wesley recommends wearing a retainer after your Invisalign treatment to maintain your new alignment and confident new smile.
