Orthodontics for Children
The ideal age for Dr. Wesley to screen your child for orthodontic issues is seven years of age. This is when your child’s first permanent molars have typically erupted by this stage, and we can accurately detect and treat common orthodontic issues like crowding and crossbites.
Early treatment at Lifetime Orthodontics can benefit young, eligible patients because it allows Dr. Wesley to monitor and direct jaw growth.
Dr. Wesley can regulate the bite relationship, the width of dental arches, make the necessary space to accommodate permanent teeth while avoiding permanent extractions, and reduce the possibility of impacted teeth.
Dr. Wesley and our team will give your children the best possible orthodontic care at our office in Clinton Township or Grosse Pointe Woods.

On top of that, your teen's bone and jaw structure are formed enough to begin orthodontic treatment at our offices in Clinton Township or Grosse Pointe Woods.
At Lifetime Orthodontics, your teen can choose between Invisalign clear aligners, metal braces, or clear braces. Each of these choices offers unique benefits while improving your teen’s smile.
Orthodontics for Adults
You’re never too old to receive orthodontic treatment, and Dr. Wesley can help you achieve that smile you have always longed for. That’s why we offer orthodontics for adults at our offices in Clinton Township and Grosse Pointe Woods. Our team wants you to enjoy the confidence a healthy, straight smile can bring you!
Here’s a fun fact: your teeth don’t stop moving after your teenage years. Teeth that seem straight and aligned when you’re young can shift later in life. This can lead to jaw pain, trouble brushing, or a smile you’re unhappy with.
If you leave misaligned teeth untreated, you may end up with other dental problems such as tooth decay and gum disease. You may also notice abnormal wear on the surface of your teeth or experience difficulty chewing or speaking.
Dr. Wesley can address these issues and more through orthodontic treatment, giving you the healthy smile you deserve. Our team can correct orthodontic problems at Lifetime Orthodontics just as easily for adults as children and teens.
It’s important to remember that Dr. Wesley can move teeth at any age as long as they are generally healthy. Dr. Wesley uses orthodontic forces to move teeth in the same way for both adults and children, and you’ll notice the benefits of your treatment in no time.
With more options on the market to address the needs of adults, more adult patients are deciding to take control of their oral health and seek orthodontic treatment at Lifetime Orthodontics.
